I sidled up to this jelly in my kayak after a long day’s paddling, from Matiu/Somes Island back to Wellington city, trying hard not to get stung.
This is one of the chosen ones, out of a long burst of photos. It gives me a warm and inviting feeling. Siren-like, I’m sure the jelly is up to no good but it still looks cuddly.
The iPhone 6 was in a waterproof housing with a flat lens.
